Rama Bhide

Hi everyone! I am a true blue Mumbaikar, born and brought up in the heart of the city. I am a Pharmacist by qualification and a certified trainer. I worked for six and a half years in Corporate in Fields of Clinical research, Medical Information and Medico-marketing, including four years of training pharmacy professionals on technical knowledge, query handling and effective communication. I also hold an International Award for my work in healthcare. But in spite of being at the top, I realized that something is missing and I decided to choose training as my future career path. That’s when I met Sarbari and Sowmya and we went on to found Alpha School of Life Skills, where we impart those skills to today’s youth right from schooling years, which we all stumbled upon in our professional lives. I believe that every child should realise their potential at a young age, and become independent financially, but more so emotionally. That will be freedom for them, in the truest sense, and that is my dream.

Sabari Dutta

Hi friends. I am a bioscience science graduate from Kolkata, with a lot of dreams. I started my career with CRM (Corporate relationship management) and Scientific communications in an MNC. I took a break post marriage, became a fulltime homemaker and mother of two kids, and came to Mumbai and settled with my husband and kids. The profession of teaching walked into my life by virtue of mentoring my own children Shounak & Srishti, but later teaching became my passion. I completed my B.Ed., and continued my mentoring spree for 10 years, playing the role of a teacher, supervisor and then heading a pre-primary school in Navi Mumbai. This reinforced my belief that passionate dreaming can change anyone’s life. I explored further following my passion and developed myself. I got certified as a transformation coach and Mind Power expert, under an international trainer. I started my brand Koncept Learning with a vision to create a change in the mindset of the students, parents and mentors. Koncept Learning grew as an initiative to share knowledge and concepts of teaching, grooming and developing young learners. I went on to found Alpha School of Life Skills along with 2 more aspiring ladies, Rama and Sowmya who share my passion to empower students and bring a change in the community at large. I recently published my first book #Me-Myself-Mom, which is a reflection of my life and a self-help book for all mompreneurs. It is my next dream to create a movement amongst the mothers who are not as privileged to live their dreams freely. I truly believe that it is the mother’s dream and the way of fulfilling the dream, is what will guide the future generation.

Sowmya Santhoshini

Hi, I am Sowmya, Former banker, Homemaker and an Entrepreneur. I Hail From the city of pearls, Hyderabad. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Finance from Osmania university. I’m an affectionate, zealous, reliable, intrepid person who loves adventures. In school I was an average student who really didn’t believe in marks. I always thought a person would require different skill sets to succeed. At the back of my mind I always thought that someday, I should do something to bring about a change in our education system. Somehow this faded away over time. I worked in the Banking Sector before marriage. When my family grew with two kids, I dedicated my time for them and became a very busy mom and a homemaker. Five years ago, we moved to the city of dreams, Mumbai, for my husband’s career. I always envisioned of becoming an entrepreneur. I was never a 9 to 5 person. I always wanted to be my own boss and do something which will bring a positive change in people and that is when I realized it is my childhood dream. During this process I met my co-founders Sarbari and Rama who are lovely, enthusiastic, encouraging and visionary people with similar passion and zeal. When they shared the idea of life skills with me that’s when I connected the dots from my childhood dream and from then there was no looking back.
